The directors, management and staff of State Bank of Lincoln are concerned about and respect the privacy of our customer’s personal financial information. We understand that our customers furnish sensitive information to the bank in the course of daily business and the bank is committed to treating such information responsibly. Online Banking and Loan Application Pages
When you use online banking or apply online for a mortgage loan, your communications and transactions are as safe as banking with a teller or speaking with a loan officer. Services offered on these areas of our website are secured using state of the art security and encryption methods (128 bit Secure Socket Layer or SSL). In addition, we use the latest technology in securing your information through the use of: routers and firewalls on our network, personalized user ID’s and passwords, and secure messaging within the Online Banking and Loan Application products.

Visitors to our website remain anonymous unless they contact us through one of the email buttons located in the general information places on the site. Since email sent through this portion of our site is not secure, please refrain from sending confidential or sensitive information when utilizing one of these buttons. In any case, any information sent to us will be used for internal purposes, as appropriate, to handle the sender’s request and will not be disseminated, shared with or sold to others.
We do not collect any information about visitors to our site. We may use standard software to collect non-identifying information such as:
Date and time the site was accessed,
Type of Web browser used,
City, State or Country
The bank may use this information to create summary statistics and to determine the level of interest in our website in general or specific information on the site.

Safeguarding Customer Information

We will protect consumer privacy by ensuring that only employees who have a business reason for knowing information have access to it. The Vice President and Cashier in charge of operations will be the banks' privacy coordinator. This person is responsible for maintaining internal procedures to ensure that our customers' information is protected.
All employees receive a copy of this policy during the hiring process and will be given a new copy annually with training as needed. The financial privacy coordinator and the appropriate department managers will be responsible for monitoring employees to determine if the policy has been violated in any way. These individuals, along with the human resources director, will take disciplinary action when necessary.

State Bank of Lincoln collects nonpublic personal information (NPI) from the following sources:
*Information we receive on deposit or loan applications and other forms
*Information from customers' transactions with the bank or our affiliates
*Information from consumer reporting agencies

Categories of Nonpublic Personal Information We May Disclose to Non-Affiliated Third Parties, Service Providers, and Joint Marketers
We do not share any nonpublic personal information about our customers or former customers, except where permitted by law.

Other Information
Each customer will receive a privacy disclosure upon opening a new account. In addition, a notice will be sent to all customers once during each twelve-month period. If our relationship with a customer ends, we will continue to adhere to our privacy policy and practices in regards to their account(s).
